How do I set up BuzzLock for the first time?
Charge the lock fully, then hold the fingerprint sensor for 5 seconds until the blue light turns on. When the green light flashes, tap the same finger 5+ times to register your admin fingerprint.
How many fingerprints can I add?
BuzzLock supports up to 10 fingerprints:
2 admin fingerprint (1st and 2nd) + 8 additional users.
How do I add more fingerprints?
Hold the sensor for 5 seconds until the blue light appears, then tap the new finger 5+ times until the green light stays on.
How do I unlock BuzzLock?
Place a registered finger on the sensor.
- Blue light + click = unlocked
- Red flash = fingerprint not recognized
How do I reset BuzzLock to factory mode?
Hold the sensor for 8 seconds until the blue light turns off and the red light flashes. When the green light flashes, all fingerprints are deleted.
After reset, any fingerprint can unlock the lock until you add a new admin fingerprint.
What if the battery dies while locked?
Plug BuzzLock into any USB charger. Wait a few seconds and try unlocking again.
How long does the battery last?
On a full charge, BuzzLock can last weeks depending on usage.
Charging takes about 1–2 hours.
What do the lights mean?
Red ON: charging
Red OFF: full battery
Green flash: fingerprint setup in progress
Green solid: fingerprint registered successfully
Blue: unlock / verification mode
Is BuzzLock waterproof?
BuzzLock is sweat-resistant and splash-resistant, but not fully waterproof. Avoid full submersion.
Can I use BuzzLock at the gym?
Yes — it’s designed for gym lockers, bags, backpacks, and daily carry.
